Timeline: 40 Years of New Internationalist Magazine

Its 40 years since New Internationalist magazine, where I work, was officially founded. It began life as the successor to The Internationalist, house mag of Third World First, now People & Planet.

One of the ways that we are celebrating is by taking a look back at our history with this lovely interactive timeline. It’s a fascinating glimpse into the history of the fight for global justice and equality.

We built it using the Timeline.JS library which was dead easy to get up and running and to hack about with. If you ever need to make a timeline, I recommend you check it out! Most of the actual hard work was done by Amy Hall, but I helped do the tech part.
