Mean spirited US University Berkley has had eighteen of its own students arrested for protesting about the exploitation of workers involved in producing University apparrel. Needless to say I thought this required a rant! If you fancy one too how about using unionvoice.org to make the point?

Rackspace managed hosting claim to be fanatical about support. Fanatical about supporting who, though? The US secret police judging by their recent treatment of indymedia uk. They handed over an entire server when asked to hand over some logs, thus closing down a fair chunk of the world's alt media infrastructure.

So when their marketing turns up in my inbox, I take great exception to it }:-/

I choose not to vote (well I usually spoil my ballot paper) because voting is consenting to be governed.

At glastonbury, one of the things oxfam were asking me to do was promote their bignoisemusic.com music 'service', so I thought I'd check it out, and it turns out it only supports M$ products, and it implements digital rights management
