I’m not racist but surely allowing followers of Hugo Chavez to flout our British way of life means that things have gone too far? Threatening to smash up branches of McDonalds and Starbucks is just not British.

Some leftists will predictably argue that followers of Hugo Chavez aren’t threatening to smash up branches of McDonalds and Starbucks in reality. But reality has a well known left-wing bias. Enoch Powell agrees with me, saying today, "read my lips; no new taxes".
