This was a birthday present from a chum of mine. A really wonderful book that manages to capture the anarchic spirit of Anonymous, LulzSec and all those lot. It manages to be anthropologically interesting, without being dry or academic and serious without being preachy or humourless. Good stuff.

I have always loved the 19th century Russian novelists. They are just so damn good. Especially Dostoevsky. Devils is a satirical look at the revolutionaries of the period. Despite the specificity of the millieu it studies, the characters are timeless and amusing. A good entertaining novel, perfect for winter commutes.
